 | Net Making Process The melt emboss net making process pioneered by Smith & Nephew Extruded Films (SNEF) offers a unique range of polyethylene and polypropylene nets for use in the industrial filtration market.
By altering the emboss pattern, degree of stretch and polymer blends, the nets are tailored to individual applications or customer requirements.
Polyethylene Nets SNEF's range of polyethylene nets was initially designed as speciality nets for cheese cloths. The nets give a range of tensile and processing characteristics and can be produced in a variety of colours.
Polypropylene Nets The polypropylene nets produced by SNEF offer a variety of opportunites as support mediums for precision filtration. The use of polypropylene net gives good tolerance to heat and pressure and by varying the weight, emboss design and open area, the net can be tailored to the specific application. |
